College Humor Internships

CollegeHumor hires college students to internship positions. These internships are unpaid (college credit) and located in CollegeHumor's New York, NY headquarters. Most internships are either in CollegeHumor's editorial or technology department.

CollegeHumor internships give students the exposure to some of the funniest brains in the business. As interns, students get the chance to interact with staff and come up with humorous content - you will be published. 

CollegeHumor offers ongoing internships in editorial and marketing/ad sales. Editorial interns focus on creating/curating humorous content and marketing/ad sales interns work on integrated marketing campaigns.

CollegeHumor.com was founded in 1999 by two high school friends from Baltimore, Maryland who went to different colleges as a way to share all of the pictures, videos, and links their friends would IM and e-mail each other.

Now, CollegeHumor is the #1 comedy site on the internet. We showcase hilarious original videos, articles, contests, and interactive features, as well as pictures and videos submitted by fans like you. Our in-house writing and production team powers CH Originals, which delivers original, TV-quality comedy videos multiple times a week.*

Pros: - It's really fun/funny to work at CollegeHumor. - Everybody is friendly and generally likes pulling practical jokes on interns. I felt like part of a family. - Overall, intern at CollegeHumor and you will love it. Cons: For college credit which kind of sucks. Living in the city during the summer can be expensive. Advice for other students: If you love writing funny things and want to get your work published and seen by thousands, CollegeHumor is the place to intern. Be funny when you apply, very funny.

Pros: You write articles and work on videos at CollegeHumor - it's the most fun I've ever had, literally. Cons: College credit, so save your skrillz during the year. Advice for other students: I like the write, a lot. CollegeHumor allows you to actually write and see the results (pageviews/time, etc). I appreciated this feedback loop.
