Pros:
- Well known company.
- Learned process of getting things done.
- Great b2b marketer.
- Smart engineers.
Cons:
Peoria is not a thriving town. But, it is what it is. You're kind of in the middle of nowhere. There is a casion boat on the river that was fun...
Advice for other students:
Overall, good place to intern. Huge intern class, so it's fun to get to know the other students/interns.

Pros:
I think what really seperated Catepillar is in the intern work. My projects were incredibly interesting. Here is a list of projects I worked on:
- Produced customer testimonial videos.
- EPA compliance.
- New product launch marketing plan.
- Social media recommendation project. I was able to present this to supervisors.
Cons:
None, incredible.
Advice for other students:
In the interview process for an internship, don't be afraid to ask what the actual day-to-day work will be like.

Pros:
- Catepillar is a strong, global brand.
- Good people. Very knowledgeable about the industry.
- Very cool project working on product marketing in Brazil.
Cons:
Wasn't at Caterpillar's HQs. I was in NC.
Advice for other students:
Don't come in thinking you know everything about marketing. You can challenge peoples ideas, but learn from their experience.

Pros:
- Worked in the Global Mining and Electronics & Connected Worksite Divisions at Catepillar.
- Internal and external communications experience.
- Able to write.
- Event work.
- Content and content distribution experience.
- Internship program was well organized and I enjoyed chilling with my fellow interns.
Cons:
- It's a niche. I'm learning more things about mining than any normal human being should know! This is both good and bad.
Advice for other students:
Catepillar is a great company with strong recognition.
