If they are known for their "Spicy" Cajun fried chicken they can create a facebook page or tweet about an upcoming event where for a limited time, a week maybe or however long the product will last, there is a spicy Cajun challenge. The registration can be set low to create hype and maybe be increased if this years event is successful. Whoever eats the most cajun chicken with homemade buttermilk biscuits wins a prize. Maybe a shirt, if you have a great graphic designer, or a spot on the hall of fame. If you have extra monetary contributions to the pot you may get more attention. The food network boom/ travel channel eating challenges have created an economy where people will eat for fun if the prize is high enough. The social media site will help with nearby customers who are willing to spend an extra few dollars to win "big". Also I would have the business you advertising advertise on commercials in the area or on food network if enough money. They have 500 stores so it can be a south east type competition.

Customers love free stuff, and Bojangles' loves customers. Here's a way for everybody to get what they love: Have a photo contest! Let people get creative by submitting photos of themselves eating their favorite Bojangles' food (or a specific product, if you want to push one). Then, have people vote on their favorite photo by "liking" it. The one with the most "like"s wins some free food, tshirts, etc. This contest will get drive customers to the store to take their pictures (if the prize is worthwhile). Then, ideally, they will send their friends to the Facebook page to vote on their pictures.

Make sure you what you tweet and fb post are different. That way, people have a reason to follow both. Also, make your posts are funny, as well as offer weekly specials. To show the authenticity of Bojangle's food, you can show videos of how fresh and clean your food is made. You can also hold a competition that would entice people to 'like' Bojangles on fb, letting people post what they love about Cajun food.

Goals of strategy: 1) Get followers *Give people a reason to “like” or “follow” Bojangles’. Give out a discount coupon for signing up. Drive people to sign up by including "Like us on Facebook, get a coupon" messages in other ad formats (print, media, online, billboard, in-store promotions). 2) Increase brand interaction *To retain followers, have regular giveaways of (lower value) coupons to those who remain members. *To promote activity on pages, award small prizes to those who add value (whether by participating in contests / competitions / generally posting fun comments) and publicize it - i.e. "For posting his awesome picture at Bojangles', John Doe gets a free burger! For winning our October giveaway, Jane Deere gets special merchandise!" 3) Promote both new and repeat business *Make it maximally easy to find the nearest Bojangles via an app or a customized Google Map. *Consider Foursquare promotions, as they increase return business - "those who reach Legend status get a free large drink!" *Offer social media-only promotions with a relatively short expiration - "for the next four hours, mention the code right here and get two buttermilk biscuits FREE with purchase of Cajun fried chicken platter!" -filatovvv

Using the spotlight that's on social networking give the customer some sort of brief fame. Have a electric banner with tweets to Bojangle's twitter account airing continuously. Implement some sort of screening process so that only G-rated tweets are accepted. Your consumer will visit the restaurant to see if they can get their tweet on the banner and they'll naturally purchase something.
