Pros:
- Really liked my boss.
- Helped to plan and coordinate charity events. Worked hard on a St. Jude Children’s Hospital fundraiser.
- Very exciting to work with celebrities and magazine editors to help get Brooks Brothers exposure at events.
- Able to see the PR cycle.
Cons:
- Didn't get to do anything in the digital or social space.
- Unpaid, credit only.
Advice for other students:
Take hands-on PR work for a brand people know whenever you can.

- Laid back culture. Flexible with my schedule.
- Access to Brooks Brother's PR agency.
- Lot of pride in the company.
- Discounts.
- Product looks good.
Cons:
- unpaid.
- not much responsibility.
- Experience was mostly support and menial tasks.
Advice for other students:
Good brand, but the actual work was mediocre.

Pros:
- People have heard of Brooks Brothers, so it looks good on the resume.
- Coordinated orders from Asia. This was actually fascinating.
- Boss was a cool lady, great sense of humor.
- Worked daily with offices in England, Italy, etc.
Cons:
Some of the tasks were repetitive and not much creativity.
Advice for other students:
Merchandising and retail management isn't an easy field to crack into. If you can do it with a brand like Brooks Brothers, take it.
