Pros:
- Loved seeing the trading floor.
- BNY Mellon has well organized internships and a great program.
- Worked on projects including setting up a retirement system for a business client. Very strategic and interesting.
Cons:
I feel like it goes under the radar, but it shouldn't.
Advice for other students:
BNY Mellon is a great place! I networked for my internships when they came on campus, so make sure the check their campus schedule.

Pros:
- They set me up with an executive mentor.
- Performing interesting research, sat in on meetings, and was part of a team that was putting together new financial product offerings. Pretty fascinating.
- Lots of exposure and conversations with senior management, BNY Mellon is good at this.
- Another interesting thing was my exposure to the bank's treasury sales group.
Cons:
No cons, BNY Mellon's internship program is terrific.

Pros:
- Did interesting research in technology and media industries. Acted as an analyst for these industries.
- Learned financial modeling and how to think about specific companies earnings and financial statements impact on stock price.
Cons:
- Some grunt work, but not much.

Pros:
- Good people. Great boss.
- BNY Mellon is well known.
- Projects I worked on included analyzing the cash position on 3,000+ accounts, origination documents, and wire transfer assistance.
- Interns often get offers for fulltime roles.
Cons:
- No real investment strategy work.
- Lots of shadowing type work.
Advice for other students:
Know excel! Seriously, excel is an important tool for these guys and if you know it well, you'll impress.
