The Role:

Interns will rotate between the Analytics and Sales departments to gain extensive exposure to both business areas, expand knowledge of the financial markets and our analytical solutions, while working on various team projects. Each intern will be paired up with a mentor who will give constant feedback and monitor projects throughout the summer. Additionally, the internship offers the opportunity to develop the necessary knowledge and skills for a career at Bloomberg by offering training on our products and services, an introduction to our clients, and insight into global financial markets. The internship is geared towards individuals who have a strong interest in the financial markets as well as sales.

About the Sales and Analytics Departments
The Sales and Analytics Departments work closely together to help consult with and sell our clients on the Bloomberg Professional® Service. Our Analytics Representatives provides consulting services to our clients by answering their questions and responding to their unique financial needs. This involves assisting them with their use of the Bloomberg Professional® Service and demonstrating the advantages of our products. Our Sales Representatives identify our clients' needs and demonstrate how Bloomberg solutions will help them make the best investment/trading decisions. They are responsible for building new business and developing existing business.

Because this is a pipeline internship, visa sponsorship is not provided.

Minimum Qualifications:

Due to the large number of high level candidates applying, Bloomberg will currently consider your candidacy, only if you include the following information on your application, and the information is subsequently verified:
-Your ability to start on Friday, June 1st and end on Friday, August 10th
-Completed at least three years of undergraduate work
-GPA of at least 3.0
-Recent work experience, or internship, in finance or business, or recent sales experience
-Fluency in Excel

In addition, you will need to demonstrate the following during the interview process:

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation and persuasion skills

Preferred Qualifications:
-GPA of at least [3.3]
-Coursework in economics, marketing, finance and/or business
-Demonstrated knowledge of Bloomberg and the financial markets
