Interview For Internship
There are many things to remember when you interview for an internship. The first is be on time and come prepared. Being comfortable is worth arriving to an interview early and making sure you don’t have to deal with any type of hassle. I remember struggling to find a parking spot for my car before an internship interview in Washington, DC. It was a huge pain and threw me off during the interview. And, if you end up being late, why the heck would they hire you? now let’s talk about being prepared for your internship interview.
Internship interview preparation doesn’t just happen overnight. If you don’t research the company, you will fail. If you do research the company and show that you truly care, you have a leg up in the competition. Many internship interview candidates think that it’s about them, wrong. The internship is about building the companies business and you have to show them how you can do that.
So, remember, (1) arrive on time and (2) prepare. The rest is up to your previous body of work. Good luck with the internship interview!
