Biogen Idec Internship & Company Overview

Biogen Idec helped create an industry that has touched countless lives. We were among the world's first biotechnology companies, and today we are the oldest independent biotech firm in the world.

Biogen Idec offers internships for students majoring in life science and non-science disciplines, with positions open in many groups across the company. Our college internship program is designed to offer opportunities to students who are interested in exploring the biotech industry and a potential career at Biogen Idec.

Through hands-on work experience, we offer a supportive, collaborative teaching environment aimed at developing our interns' skills and identify their career goals.  We seek students who are interested in building a long-term relationship with Biogen Idec.

Through our internship program, we offer students the opportunity to come inside the doors of one of the largest biotech companies in the world and learn first-hand how teamwork, collaboration and commitment to providing the best service to our patients have helped drive our company to success.

Internship opportunities are available at our U.S. locations: Cambridge/Wellesley, MA, Research Triangle Park, NC, and Washington, DC
