Bartle Bogle Hegarty Internship & Company Overview
Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) operates as an advertising agency worldwide. The company was founded in 1982 and is based in London.
We love mavericks, do'ers, thinkers, the positive ones, the hungry ones, the ones who get psyched by brands, culture and communication and can work collaboratively. We aren't necessarily looking for typical advertising types; rather in each team we try to have an organizer-type, a thinker-type and a digital-tinkerer-type.
Lifestage-wise, we're looking for typical intern candidates: college students or those recently out of school.

Pros:
I absolutely loved working at BBH. Very intelligent and creative people that work hard. They gave me responsibility and freedom to follow the projects that I loved. The Ally Bank account was very fascinating as they were transitioning from the GMAC umbrella. I was also able to help with new business pitches and prospecting (brands like Axe).
Cons:
None. Seriously, BBH is incredible and takes internships seriously.
Advice for other students:
Work hard. Create things.

Pros:
- BBH has an incredible internship program.
- Worked on AXE which is a cool brand. It was growing like crazy and successful which is fun to see.
- People.
- Paid.
- Culture.
Cons:
In most entry level advertising roles you work hard and don't get paid very well.
Advice for other students:
It's very difficult to get your foot in the door with these agencies. My advice is to get creative with the app and make sure to apply during the recruiting off-cycle.
