Baker Hughes Internship & Company Overview

Baker Hughes is one of the world’s leading oilfield services companies with solutions that enable oil and gas operators to lower cost, reduce risk, and improve productivity.

In some of the countries in which we work, internship schemes help us to identify potential future talent and give you the chance to gain valuable work experience.

Interns are likely to be in the second or third year of a four-year technical degree, typically in a geosciences, engineering, or engineering-related subject, but this requirement varies according to location.

For example, in China we offer summer internships and longer schemes from two weeks to eight months, for engineering and science disciplines. Many good candidates are converted to permanent employees at the end of the internship. In other places, including the US, internship roles are offered on an ad hoc basis, for engineering and nonengineering disciplines.*
