Pros:
- Everybody I worked with at Ann Taylor was terrific to me and took an interest in my life/career.
- Experienced a little bit of everything. Did work with merchandising, art direction, production, photos shoots, and design. Literally got to see it all.
- Paid.
Cons:
I learned a ton about the retail business, but didn't get very vertical into any category.

Ann Taylor treat interns well!

Pros:
I worked in the footwear department of Ann Taylor. Looked at data surround sales, promotions, and sales/sqft. My boss was terrific and really enjoyed my time at Ann Taylor.
Cons:
Lots of data analysis, so don't come expecting a bunch of glamour.
Advice for other students:
Apply earlier and get to know the HR team. NYC is very fun as well.
