Pros:
I helped conduct an internal audit of fixed assets. Loved it.
- Lunch and learn sessions.
- Intern events.
- Very, very smart people.
- Pay
Cons:
none
Advice for other students:
Business majors should apply here. There is also a bunch of MBA interns from top tier schools. Also, internships are offered all around the country, so you don't necessarily have to move out to the west coast (even though it's prettier out here!).

Pros:
- Able to work on a huge project involving consumer healthcare marketing for potential new medicines.
- Huge amounts and access to data. Amgen is very data-driven with their decision making. Learned from this.
- Senior managers are very supportive and ask about career aspirations, etc.
Cons:
I wish I had taken some pre-med classes. The smartest Amgen leaders had both a medical and business background.
Advice for other students:
Loved interning at Amgen.
