- Networking and presentation opportunities to senior managers.
- Intern events and great culture.
- They use this to hire entry level employees and tell you about career paths within the company.
- Get paid!
Cons:
There is a little bit of grunt work, but not a lot.

Cons:
Clearer path to an entry level position. I also had some times where I didn't have work to do.
Advice for other students:
I had never heard of AmerisourceBergen before talking to my career center, but it's a great company. Take a look at it for internships - they've got all different types.

Pros:
- Feel like I know healthcare right now.
- Worked with big pharma, managed care, and healthcare providers.
- My job was to help evaluate various healthcare interventions by measuring their clinical, economic and humanistic value. This was very interesting and I learned a ton about care and cost.
- Analyzed data and presented it to key decision makers.
- Trusted.
- Paid.
Cons:
I hope this leads to a fulltime role at AmerisourceBergen or allows me to get into the healthcare field.
Advice for other students:
AmerisourceBergen is a wonderful company and the health outcomes group is doing some important research. Good luck with the application and hope this helps!
