Aetna Internship & Company Overview
Founded in 1853 in Hartford, Connecticut, Aetna is one of the nation's leading providers of health care, dental, pharmacy, group life, and disability insurance, and employee benefits.
*Aetna’s Undergraduate Summer Intern Program gives students experience in a given functional area. It also provides a range of experience through company-wide programs. These include:
- Classroom and online-based training
- An executive speaker series
- Social and community service events
- A cross-functional final project
Aetna internships are paid. They typically last 10 to 12 weeks, for 40 hours a week, from May to August. Most are based at our corporate headquarters in Hartford, Conn., with additional positions at Aetna offices across the country.
