Pros:
- Good pay.
- Loved being close to DC.
- AES puts you on a project with team members. I was on an audit analysis of one of our plants. Oh also got to work a little bit with the forecasting team which was cool.
Learned a ton about the energy industry in general (which is hot right now).
Cons:
Workflow was a pain some times - really busy some days and bored some others. But, not too bad.
Advice for other students:
Great company, loved AES. If you get an offer, take it. Live in Glover Park, but commute was pretty long.

Pros:
- Boss was great, taught me the principles of risk management. I'm a finance major, so I had no real background in risk management and didn't even really understand the profession. But, my boss showed me the ropes and took the time to care.
Cons:
None.
Advice for other students:
I applied online. Also, network with managers while you are there.
