Abercrombie & Fitch, through its wholly owned subsidiaries, operates as a retailer of casual apparel for men, women, and kids in the United States.
Merchandising Internship Program:
Our Corporate Internship Program in Merchandising provides a select group of college students in their junior year an opportunity to experience being a merchant at Abercrombie & Fitch for 10 weeks over the summer. Interns work for one of our five brands and will be placed on a specific product category for the summer. After two weeks of intensive training, interns will oversee vendor communication, attend fittings, participate in design reviews, and have a thorough knowledge of the business they are working on. This program is structured to allow interns to take on a great deal of responsibility quickly and gain immediate exposure to senior leadership. Interns will be active players in helping make one of A&F's product categories successful for the upcoming seasons.
Design Internship Program:
Our Co-Op & Internship program allows college students to experience being a Designer at Abercrombie & Fitch for 12 weeks. The program is available to top design students throughout the school year and summer. Interns are assigned a mentor and work for a specific product category within one of our five brands. This program is structured to allow interns to take on a great deal of responsibility quickly and gain immediate exposure to the design process. Day to day responsibilities include designing, fabric and trim selection, involvement in fit sessions and communicating with overseas factories and vendors. Interns will be active players in helping to create the latest fashion trends in the A&F handwriting.
Tech Design Internship Program:
Our Co-Op & Internship program allows college students to experience being a Tech Designer at Abercrombie & Fitch for 10 weeks. We offer programs in the Spring, Summer and Fall, Interns are assigned a mentor and work for a specific product category within one of our five brands. This program is structured to allow interns to take on a great deal of responsibility quickly and gain immediate exposure to the Technical Design process including fit techniques, quality control, technical packages, and electronic pattern drafting. Interns will be active players in helping make on of A&F's product categories successful for the upcoming seasons.
