Pros:
I did learn some sales techniques and I made some cash.
Cons:
I went door to door selling Comcast service. It wasn't very fun.
Advice for other students:
If you are into sales, you can make a ton of money doing this. That said, I don't think I'm cutout for this.

Pros:
- The engineering issues and opportunities are huge in scale.
- In general, the Comcast Internship Program is well put together and they treat interns extremely well. I was pleasantly surprised by this.
- Good boss.
Cons:
Large company and with that comes a certain level of bureaucracy which slows tech projects down.
Advice for other students:
I would recommend Comcast as a good place to intern.

Pros:
I was able to see the whole finance function within this regional group. That was by far the most valuable part of the internship. I really loved helping out on the monthly P&L projection projects.
Cons:
Some general admin work while I was at Comcast. Like copying reports, formatting docs, etc.
Advice for other students:
Know Sarbanes-Oxley it will be important.

Pros:
It was really interesting to learn direct response marketing. My group worked on specific mailers. The scale and data are HUGE. It's crazy and this scale makes it very fun. Overall, Comcast is a good company and the internship program is full of friendly students and put together well.
Cons:
I wish I got to do more creative work. There is a big emphasis on data.
Advice for other students:
Know math and excel, even for marketing.
